rhocoonsproutaen: a gender that feels as though it sprouts from one’s back like newly hatched butterfly wings
for anon! these are additions to my other -sproutaen terms, with the first flag’s colors coming from an image of a monarch butterfly and the second one having some of the same wing colors, a near-white stripe to represent how the wings are wet when they first emerge, and green to represent a cocoon. the second term’s name combines ‘rho’ from ‘rhopalocera’, ‘ocoon’ from ‘cocoon’, + ‘sproutaen’!
