Delicious butter pecan cookies with a rich butter flavor and crunchy pecans. These cookies are the perfect treat for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup chopped pecans.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 375F 190C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. Put the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl and cream them together until they are light and fluffy. Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix just until everything is combined. Add the chopped pecans and mix them in. Round tablespoons of dough should be dropped onto the baking sheets that have been prepared, leaving some space between each cookie. After the oven is hot, bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to cool all the way.
