Chapter 28 is going well. At this pace, if I don't edit the crap out of it, I could plausibly be done by New Years. However, I'm at a spot where it feels both horribly bloated and like I'm knit picking and it's fine actually. Editing it down gets rid of some decent material with Lau's siblings, but also gets rid of my fear of "oh GOD, this is taking forever for Lau to continue to be obtuse! Make it stooooop!"
We're looking at nearly 3,000 words of me being paranoid about pacing.
Somehow brother Niben has become the family therapist. Which, I mean, I guess someone needs to be, out of all these tightwads.
