I learned how to do Transparent backgrounds in Paint Tool SAI and I was SUPER EXCITED So, I figured I'd maybe show you guys. Even though I'm sure a bunch of you already know.
so, you start off with your little doodle thang. here it has a background, right? Or so you think. There technically is no background at all.
So you sit there and think "dang this would look hella with a transparent background. Well, I want you to make another layer. Take that layer and put it BELOW YOUR ART.
Take that extra layer and bake a little color on it, just to be sure that you don't have any stray marks or anything. That looks great ye
now click that little eyeball thingy so it goes away like so. That should turn that layer invisible. I'm sure you can just delete the layer, but I'm not certain, so just do this anyway
aight, now go to File... Save As... and name it and save it as .png
after you click okay, or save, this little window should pop up. (IF YOU DO NOT GET THIS WINDOW, YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR PAINT TOOL SAI) If you do, make SURE you click 32bpp ARGB, or else it's not gonna be transparent
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT. Paint Tool SAI Transparency Tutorial. I'm sorry, I've never done a tutorial or anything, but my friend asked and there for I did.
