I've started rewatching the hot daga and I totally forgot that at the very beginning, when Shane was just putting silly little animations in the postmortems, the words "C.C. Tinsley on a segway" were uttered and C.C. Tinsley won the little race between him, Yankee Jim and Bigfoot.

Ryan was the one who introduced the character of Pam.
crab joust!!!
It could have ended here. This could have been the end. Then Ryan made it a cliffhanger. You brought this on yourself, Bergara.
It takes a while to get started, there are a few episodes where just a few seconds of story happen, but also: Shane takes the whole thing off the rails pretty early on, with the flashback during the crab joust.
"I heredo thereby, as the sausage priest, another layered, universally adored character, pronounce thee husband and wife, for better or for wurst."
"They are siblings. Between them, their father, with the most beautiful beard a crab has ever had and a hat that maybe looks like a wizard's hat, or whatever is easiest to animate. This, so far, is maybe the richest character yet."
I love Shane's narration voice. Let this man read another audiobook. Let him tell me a bedtime story.
I also love his storytelling. I've said it before but I would LOVE for him to write an entire book (fiction, of course); I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I still think that we moved on too fast from Future Brandon eating Baby Brandon. It is so messed up and Shane moves past the absolute HORROR of that action so quickly.

And that's season 1! I don't know if I will continue because this story gets so dark and heartbreaking under its disguise of being comedy and I am not sure if my soul can take it.
Also, every single song in this whole thing is an absolute BANGER.
