“What is that supposed to mean?” Marcus answers, his normally timid and mildly frightened/nervous voice replace with a more aggressive and combative tone. He wasn’t the type to put up with Chloe’s snide comments, nor was he afraid of her threats. He was remarkably cunning and proactive, counter to his normal reactive public persona.  @buzzrgeois

“It was a long Akuma attack today. If you aren’t feeling up to doing patrol that’s fine. We typically don’t find anything interesting the day of an attack. I just like doing the nightly patrol to get out any remaining energy I have from the day’s events.”

Ladybug looked at the Bee holder with concern on her face. She was fine to do patrol tonight by herself if Queen Bee needed a break. She knew that the first few attacks she was a part of that her first instinct afterward was to go to bed or get some coffee.

“Uh, well...” There wasn’t really a need for the deer-in-headlights look that Adrien couldn’t conceal. It’d been a long time since he had engaged in any sort of delinquency or rule-breaking with Chloe, but it wasn’t an alien concept. She wasn’t somebody he couldn’t talk to. The last time had been before he’d started attending public school, which felt like an eternity ago now. His expression fell, lapsing into the familiar melancholy he adopted whenever he was seriously out of sorts at home.

“Honestly?” He said, “I’m not really supposed to be out, but I just couldn’t... stand another minute of staring out my window, and...” Adrien waved his hand vaguely in the direction of the elevator doors, “I ran into some paparazzi. This is just kind of where I thought to go.”
