The Caledonian Twins, boy they’re story is unbelievable. Here’s what happened. They have served in the Scottish military since their teens. They were trained to prepare for war. They worked out everyday at their bootcamp, both on a strict diet, using weapons, and doing acrobatic daredevil stunts. They made some friends, used their manners, and treated women, children, and their elders respectfully. Their general was like a father figure to them. The twins don’t follow the macho attitude of the military; they keep their opinions and what they like to themselves until Sodor became their new home and they were free to be themselves. The only memories they remember outside of the military was their mom and their home in Portree, Scotland. She was a beautiful classy Scottish woman with beautiful curly red hair and a heart of gold. Donald remembers her from her cooking, especially her Scotch Beef Pie and her Cullen Skink soup. Douglas remembers her by her favorite likings. For example, her favorite flowers were foxgloves and she wore her favorite necklace all the time; it was golden with a rectangular shaped Bloodstone as the charm. One day at the age of 13, their mother went missing. She was kidnapped by outsiders that went up against Scotland during a previous war. The twins never saw their mom again. They don’t know if she is still alive or dead now. The whole reason they signed up to be in the military is to find their mom and fight whoever took her, but ever since they moved to Sodor and escaped from death (scrap); they abandoned that mission. And also they wanted to serve and protect their country for the good. One day they will find her again. The situation with the twins being sent for scrap was like this. Since the twins are old fashioned the society in Scotland just thought they’re no use anymore and planned to send them to death (scrap), but when Sir Topham Hatt needed someone to work on Sodor; Donald was picked and saved. Unfortunately Douglas wasn’t picked. Donald didn’t want to leave without his brother and Douglas knew that time was up for him. So they snuck out of Scotland and fled to Sodor together. Then they’re story began with that. Donald is the jovial and witty one and Douglas is the calmer and more serious one. Donald visits Dilly the duck everyday and feeds her bread. Douglas does community service and helps the homeless from time to time. The both of them work out daily in their free time. Donald is very flirtatious and wishes he can be in a relationship someday. Douglas likes to play the bagpipes for fun and for traditional holidays. If anyone has questions about the twins don’t be shy and ask please.
