Nothing but a normal night in Serenity for Demetria Rivers. Scurrying through the corridors with her skills of stealth that she seemed to have adapted, the brunette eagerly rushed through the hallway of the female rescue ward, an ever-growing smile dancing on her lips. Thankfully, herself and Aiden were still in the honeymoon stages of their relationship. Every now and then, the beauty would surprise Aiden with a different set of lingerie, hidden – of course – by the length of her oversized, suede coat. Reaching the top of the stairwell to the male rescue ward, adrenaline pumping through her veins at the speed of a race-car, Demi froze before quickly pinning her back to the wall.

All she wanted was another night with Aiden but it seemed as though it was going to all be messed up because of this psycho-ass-guard who- That was when the door swung open. Sam must have heard her. Rolling her eyes not only in defeat but half out of anger too, she stepped out into the open to face the woman. The pair of them were stood here completely alone, with nobody else surrounding them. What the fuck was she going to do?
Keeping herself composed though, she couldn’t possibly let the other female know of the anxiety that was coursing through her veins. Swallowing her own discourage, Demi tilted her head to one side. “Hi… Sam. I was just looking for my patient’s phone, I must have dropped it earlier…”
