❝Come on, I wanna get outta here.❞ Without the bother of waiting for Kisumi’s response, Hitoshi tugs the guy by the back of his shirt and pulls him through the crowd of interested girls who only really flocked to their direction to watch the pink-haired pretty boy beat another high score at the basketball game booth. Hitoshi is well-aware that he has just ruined the fun for the girls but he’d rather have that than be in a crowd of strangers. The Lunar Zone booths are packed enough as it is.
He really should have seen this coming when agreeing to hang out with someone like Kisumi.
Once they’re finally out of peering eyes, he lets go of his friend’s shirt and slides his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. ❝Just hurry up and get a girlfriend already. The more you’re seen dating someone, the less hassle you get from attracting too much attention.❞
The segmented laughter of the clown that crackled through the low quality speakers only served to further sour Nico’s mood. She decided to head to the Lunar Zone with a few friends to join the festivities and quickly came upon a shooting gallery with cork rifles. The aim was deceptively simple; knock over the stuffed animal, you claim it. Of course it was rigged, but, that only served to fuel Nico’s vendetta. Her friends had all but moved on while she decided to stay and defend her pride. And she WANTED that stuffed fox. She’d come too far to abandon it now.
“This game is discriminatory toward those of shorter stature! You expect me to good angle on the thing with my cute, maidenly physique? This is bullying! I demand a fair playing field!”
The stall runner spared a smug glance at the girl before disregarding her claim and repeating his line. He bared the expression of someone who’s endured quite a few excuses this evening.
Grumbling, she inevitably reached into her pocket to prolong the battle.
She reached into--
She reached--
It was empty.
She hurriedly pat down the rest of her pockets. Checked the ground around her. Had she really spent so much already...?! Cursing under her breath, she layed the rifle onto the counter and glowered in the stall runner’s direction.
“I’ll be back!”
She huffed back into the crowd, mind racing. She could solve this. It’ll be easy. Straightening her bangs and fluffing her pigtails she spied for her mark. Perhaps someone a little taller so they could get a better angle on the... Aha! There’s one!
She tried her best to look bashful as she wandered up and gently tugged on the victims sleeve.
“Um... Sorry to bother you mister, but this mean old man tricked me and now I don’t have any money... I really want that fox plush, so... Wait, huh?”
Her facade suddenly broke as she looked up at her target’s face.
The teal haired hacker wasn’t really big into his festive surroundings. Honestly, he just was checking out the place and planned to get some snacks. Though, just when he wanted to return home early, so he could spend the time until new year inside his bed with his laptop, he recognized a very familiar person from afar.
It was his neighbor, Lili. She seemed to be lost in her own thoughts, and Sou couldn’t help but feeling the urge to startle her. They’re relationship was just... like that. That’s why he quietly approached her from behind, and started talking to her without any greeting or warning whatsoever:
“You’re thinking about going inside there?” He pointed to the small fortune teller tent, that she was staring at for a while now. Not that he was watching her or anything, it just was plain obvious! “Huh, I had no idea you’re superstitious! Ahaha, are you the type of girl, that starts crying when she gets a bad fortune about ‘love’ or whatever?”

“E-Excuse me, you there! Please, step into this box with me!”
Yusuke had been pondering the booth for a while now. It supposedly took photographs complete with filters and effects. Stepping in the sound effects played, the screens lit up and, to be honest, was confusing and intimidating enough for him to stage a strategic retreat. He only has so much money, he couldn’t afford to botch this...
Half of the artist found it a little disappointing, using soulless mechanical processes to paint a picture, but it was also fascinating. Something created at human hands and it drew crowds of youth with its gravity and presence. And so he stood outside and pondered whether the research was worth it... maybe he should ask for assistance...?
...Then he noticed a bewitching young man seemingly absent-minded walking by. The lithe yet strong build of his frame, his mysterious expression...
...He’d make an excellent painting subject...
Ding.
Why not kill two proverbial birds with one stone?!
“Apologies for calling out so suddenly!” he runs over to the figure. “I cannot grasp how to make it work properly, I’m afraid! Could I perhaps ask for your assistance?”
❝ Oi! Roomie! ❞ Octavio burst out of the crowd of people to grab Semimaru’s arm. He was originally just going to grab someone at random, but when he’d turned to do so, he’d seen is roommate among the masses. The guy always seemed like a pretty good sport, so he thought this wouldn’t hurt.
❝ Guy at the booth thinks I’m cheating somehow, but I just got good aim and he doesn’t believe me. I was trying to convince him and I got the crowed worked up and now they want to see something really cool so just stand here and don’t move! ❞ He let go of the other boy’s arm once he’d dragged Semimaru to the balloon-popping booth. Leaning bodily over the counter, he snatched one of the balloons and blew it up to be about the size of his own head. He then reached up, rubbing it a bunch on Semimaru’s hair to get it to stay by static electricity, and backed up.
❝ Don’t! Move! ❞ he reminded Semimaru as he covered his eyes with one hand. The other, he reached out and the man running the booth placed a dart in his palm, saying something about not being able to condone this. As almost an after thought, Octavio pulled out his phone and handed it to someone nearby before re-covering his eyes. ❝ Fans will love this--record the whole thing! ❞
Ochako stands outside of Bakugos room, two tickets to the formal dance rested in her pockets. If she touched them, she would quickly retract her hands as if they were shocked. She wondered why everything was so loud at that moment as if there were sirens going off. Perhaps it was her brain telling her to abort mission, but she wasn’t about to back down.
He had kissed her a few days before, so surely he wouldn’t be opposed to some silly formal dance. Or rather, she hoped that she wasn’t reading too far into it. Inhaling, she knocked on his door three times.
Knock....
Knock....
........knock.
Her heart leapt to her throat as she heard footsteps come toward the door.
Hitoshi isn’t sure how long he’s been watching Uraraka attempt to toss at least three rings around a peg but it has certainly been long enough for the brunette to make him hold her bag for probably less weight. He just wanted to buy breadsticks at the Flour Girl Pizza booth but of course, he just had to do something out of the norm and greet Uraraka on his way there.
This is what he gets for giving a friendly face a short nod of acknowledgment.
❝There are other games here, you know.❞ He adds, hoping that would be enough to push the girl to move on.
