#i did oot back on the 3ds in like 2011ish and it was. thoroughly fucking boring #ive played the toon link games and tp otherwise and was never super into any of them. not much of a zelda guy in general #BUT i just watched a commentated 100% speedrun and was like. hold on why does this one look actually cool #not that you can glean a lot about the actual gameplay/story in speedruns but that's what makes 'em fun as an introduction #the bits i could catch i was like wait this game has FLAVOR? this has a plot worth half a damn??? it has ENGAGING MECHANICS????#crazy to me ppl dicksuck oot so hard when even just an outsider glance at mm paints it as more interesting in like every conceivable way #like yeah i appreciate oot being the big pioneer of its time but like. mm is better....#MOSTLY lol. some of the more nitty gritty shit looks obnoxious but thats like fine. its an old game its gonna be a little obnoxious.#bweeeaaahh
