Writing fanfic is totally something I do for fun, and the feedback and interaction I get out of it feels like so much payment already, especially since so many fic authors don’t luck out the way I have. So I never FEEL like I need to be paid, (which isn’t to say other writers/artists can’t ask for money! because that’s totally valid of them for putting their time and effort into producing amazing things)
