What do you like to do as you reply to threads? Listen to music? Have TV on? Complete silence? Dark room? etc.
it depends ! usually i like to listen to instrumental stuff ( or sometimes silence is the best, really ) but i try to avoid anything else. tv on or other music with anyone talking or singing confuses me ?? sometimes i end up writing down what they are saying so nope, that’s not something for me :’D
How did you learn about roleplaying? How did you get started roleplaying yourself?
harry. potter. fanfictions. there was page on german which featured both a fanfictions and a forum soo i later found out they as well have a promo board for roleplaying and tried out my luck there. but yep; it all started with some tonks / lupin fanfic which i loved so much that i decided to join the forum.
What was your first roleplay character?
an harry potter oc from the next generation. nothing really big & i didn’t rp her for a long time, because the people around were odd and it wasn’t really something for me.
What’s your newest roleplay character?
narcissa malfoy. i tried, but she is inactive now.
What/Who is a character you think you would like to roleplay? What’s currently stopping you from roleplaying them?
actually; none? the thing is i only would love to have the hunger games being more popular and thus having more people know about it. it’s sad to know it’s about to end, not because i love the moves or the books so much (i think they are decent but? with a different narration it would have been more interesting. i would have loved an asoiaf style), but because it’s such an interesting world to rp in and i think if the rp fandom was larger (and there were even more creative people in it) we could make something bigger and better than what the hunger games itself stand for. not only the limited view katniss gives us or the movies that advertise yet another love triangle with included whitewashing.
Who’s a roleplayer (or writer) you think you have learned a lot from?
i feel with every book you read / with every person you write, you learn a bit more. especially as a non native english speaker, it is about learning how others use certain words and in which content they do that. it’s such a stupid example omg but i still remember how i once rped with @miiserably and she used something like ‘tears spilled down her cheek’ and i was just woHA ?? this sounds so good and amazing and i never knew you use it in that way. rping as an esl is something that improves your english in such an incredible way. i always feel embarrassed looking back at my first few rps on caesar here.
