Send 💢 to see my muse struggle with something they are bad at!
This is embarrassing for everyone involved. Bertha is sure of it. Well. The rogue bioweapon laying still on the ground, bleeding everywhere and never to get back to again, is not embarrassed. But Bertha is, and she feels the man clinging to get and sobbing certainly should be.
Some junior scientist who managed to survive a containment breach long enough for the security service to put down all hostile BOWs that the medic doesn't know the name of. Honestly, if this is how he behaves after one little brush with death, he doesn't deserve to be the one to make it out alive. He's taller than Bertha and has his arms wrapped tight around her, pressing them together while he cries his thanks into her shoulder.
She pats his side, the movement stiff. "Let go." This, it seems, is taken as an invitation to cry louder and begin rambling about how scared he's been and how happy he is to be alive. This is not her intended meaning. She looks to Beltway in the hopes that he can tell she wants help with removing this problem. She cannot simply kill the man- Umbrella will want to question him about the incident- but she really, really wants to.
