She’s not sure why, but it happens. The dinosaur that should have swallowed her whole is still on the ground, and another remains just out of her reach. There’s no blood on her arms, no cuts or gashes... how?

But it’s quickly answered when she puts two and two together, lips parted in awe.

               He didn’t want to be there, that much was clear in the way he probably reeked of the fear he was trying to stoically suppress. Though he stood at a good safe distance and atop the walkway looking down at the creatures, Timmy observed the velociraptors in moderate silence, if it wasn’t for his chattering teeth. 

                He was left alone for only a minute, but the minute began to feel like agonizing centuries and all at once he felt nine years old again. There was a reason why he refused to see the raptors, of all the dinosaurs in the park. Even if he thought himself to be quite over what had happened over twenty years ago, it was clear there was still some residual fear of the species left in him.

Food. That was all on Gabe’s mind as he smelt the meat. He had waited for the call, the clicker, and the okay but he still had a hard time focusing. He rushed to the meat, almost snagging a piece. He hissed at the one who took it from him. Smelling another piece he snatched it and ran to eat it in peace for fear of it being taken from him.
