i was thinking mikey would be older (only by a few years or something) and they meet at each other's work (ex. mikey's a librarian or a guitar center employee, reader is a barista or cashier) and find out they go to the same school, maybe they go to a party together 👀

this could be smut or fluff, idrc either way. also, maybe mikey could be ftm?? i've never seen a fic with a trans character who isn't the reader.
