no, you are not the only one. We are at least 2. I also didn't want Edvin in HR. I think he did a good job in YR, but ... not happy about this casting for quite some reasons.

Edvin is fine, but he's Wille in Young Royals to me and that's too strong of a character association to let go of and accept him as Luca Haas. I don't understand why they didn’t cast an unknown canadian who are free of any association. Also, as a norwegian, it's mandatory to complain about swedes 😜

Since they cast Edvin, there is nothing stopping them from casting NG tbh. Why not assemble all main actors from the handful of queer shows that went mainstream? Let's get Kit Connor on board as well. They're acting like the GP will only accept queer playing actors from successful shows. And since they don't care about matching characteristics of the role they're playing, make Nick play Dallas Kent or something lol.

And we ALL know Roger Crowell was based on Simon Cowell so why not let him play him? If he can move his face that is...

The only thing that upsets me with all these casting announcements is that i fear it will steal screentime from Hollanov. If they must, just put it all in episode 3 so we can skip it on the rewatch. I know Jacob has the rights to adapt all the books, but that doesn’t mean he needs to put them all in one season... Do spin off shows instead and give me HEATED RIVALRY with Hollanov.
