Same, friend, same. We could start a whole subgenre of Leverage fic between ourselves.
domesticity meme: 12, 20, 33
Questions here!
12. favorite non-sexual activity?
Sitting in the kitchen while Eliot cooks. There’s something relaxing about being there, for all three of them, even if Eliot pretends to get increasingly frustrated at them both trying to steal food before it’s done.20. what do they watch on tv and do they fight for the remote?Um there is no “fighting” for the remote, there are fucking wars for the remote. There are carefully planned battle strategies, and alliances, and betrayal at critical moments. For a while, Hardison has an app on his phone that lets him control the TV, after Eliot literally throws the remote out the window so they can’t change the channel back to Cat Lawyers* (which, isn’t that a little extreme, man? Like, I know you think Cat Lawyers is stupid but ESPN? Really??) and they’re stuck watching sports for days because Parker and Hardison are both too lazy to get up and change the channel manually.Except that leaves Hardison almost completely in charge of TV channel changing, which can not stand, so eventually Parker lifts his phone, deletes the app, and replaces his ring tone with Uptown Funk, which no one, no one hates more than Hardison hates it.* The Dog Cops** spinoff***** Shut up they share universes now okay*** Eliot secretly fucking loves Dog Cops and lets them win the fight whenever they put it on, but he maintains that Cat Lawyers is the worst show ever created and refuses to be in the same room if even a commercial for it comes on.33. how do they refer to the other in public? how do other people refer to the other? (i.e. “my partner”, “ask your father”, ”dad and papa”, ”how’s your wife?”, etc)IT’S FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK THIS because I was thinking about kidfic the other day and how like. When they inevitably adopt a baby thief that’s, you know, real little, the kid’ll end up calling Parker mom and Hardison daddy, and for the longest time Eliot will be just Eliot (or even worse, Uncle Eliot, which Hardison started as a joke but guts Eliot a little every time), and the day the kid asks if it’s okay if she calls him dad, he’ll be fucking wrecked. Like just totally fucking wrecked. Like saying of course that’s okay and then the kid runs off, and he has to go lock himself in the bathroom and, not cry, but, you know. Totally cry.Because, like, Parker never really thought about having a family, but once it just kind of happens, she’s okay with it. And Hardison always wanted a big family, but in an abstract way that was always a couple years out. Eliot’s the one who actually, actively wanted kids, who stayed up for days after Parker brought the kid home and was like, “Can we keep her?”, thinking on all the ways this was a terrible idea and they were going to fuck this kid up so bad and how much he desperately wanted to keep her-And he’s the one who gets shunted to the role of uncle in public, and he’s okay with that, because, you know, obviously Parker and Hardison- They’re just the obvious choice for parents. It would be weird if- He’s fine with it, okay. It doesn’t bother him. But, yeah, basically one of the best days of Eliot’s life is when that kid wants to call him dad.
Ask me anything meme: 6, 25, 42
6: Age you get mistaken for- most recently, about a week after my 22nd birthday, I got asked if I was still in high school
25: My idea of a perfect date- ideally, skydiving off a dragon. More realistically, popcorn, a shot or two of something sweet and alcoholic, fire in the fireplace, Anna and I snuggling, and rewatching Leverage
42: The last thing I ate- A cod sandwich and small fries from Wendy’s.
fandom + number meme: leverage, seven, eight, and twelve.
7) Scene you’d like to see? I’d like to meet Eliot’s dad. That and have a Leverage/Librarians crossover but y’know.
8) Favorite flashback? I mean like there aren’t really “flashbacks” unless you count the 2-second-long explanation flashbacks and the stuff in the Van Gogh Job and the DB Cooper Job. But either ways I “like” the flashbacks in the Van Gogh Job more bc Eliot/Parker is just weird and also Eliot’s flashback mustache is horrible
12) Funniest character? Imma say Parker bc she’s funny and adorable and just
the ask about you meme: 18, 39
18) A random memory from your childhood- When I was probably like 6 or so, my dad took me and my brother to visit friends who live near San Francisco, and we went on a ferry boat. During the ride, my dad noticed I looked sad, and when he asked why, I said, “There’s no fairies”.
39) What is your favorite kind of pizza- My family keeps kosher, so the only pizzas I’ve ever really eaten are just plain cheese or pineapple.
historical asks: byzantine, medieval, rococo
Byzantine:Do you prefer gold or silver accessories?
Already answered here
Medieval:Are you religious?
Not at all, though I went to both a religious primary school and a (differently) religious high school.
Rococo:Is your bedroom full or trinkets and pictures? If so, which pictures adorn your walls?
I have a whole lotta stuff on the walls, though less than I had. Mostly it’s a mess of things I find interesting, visually, which means theres a lotta postcards and a few banners. There’s also the three tiny Venetian masks I picked up.
