Rampant Satisfaction

He was quick, and he was lithe. Moreover, he was on the opposite side of most of the swords that he’d seen. Tch...that was a bother.
He was a small flash of metal, he was the blade that cut the last breath of life from his targets. That was how he was taught and used. No mercy, do as much damage as he can before dashing off to his next target.
That’s how he ran through the streets now, among the chaos...
A slash to a hamstring here, a cut to the throat there. But on, and on he ran. The more damage he did, the better. But he’d gained too much attention and dashed into an alley...where he lost his pursuers...but that was not all.
He had gained a new target, someone standing in front of him. The Tantou skidded to a halt in front of them, not caring for his ragged, ichor stained appearance.
Drip...
Drip...
Drip...
The sound of liquid hitting the ground, staining it crimson at his bandaged feet. Sayo’s gaze was as sharp as his blade. Or himself, for that matter.
Eventually, his mouth curled into a smirk.
“Like a fly...all life has to drop.”
“How long before you fall? Do you wish to live? How strong...is that desire?”
