So yesterday i was at the river side and it was actually quite depressing. The Vistula river, main Polish river, is drying up. It's not really visible on this photo, but basically in one spot the beach was reaching almost to the other bank. While I was walking through the huge wet desert that used to be the bottom of the river, I remembered "Comet in moominland". Have you read the book? There's this gloomy part (well entire book is gloomy tbh) when they are walking through the dry bottom of the sea, because the sea had "ran away" scared of the comet.
So the evening was quiet and peaceful, and warm light of setting sun was filling the still landscape, and people were chilling and taking pics... but i sensed a little bit of this air of upcoming catastrophy.
