Did you and your group just submit the asset pricing assignment? Are you ready to relax, celebrate and forget everything you justlearned about cross-sectional regressions?
In case you didn’t have time to do your research on events during the week, here is a sample of events that might help you procrastinate before you open those notes from Kevin Sheppard and start cramming for next Friday:
1. Charity Fundraiser/SBS Common Room/5.00pm-7.00pm/TODAY- highly recommended in case you didn’t plan to leave SBS before midnight today, wanna make more friends from the MBA class or haven’t done charity for a while.
2. Cocktails in the MCR/Jesus College/8.00pm- until there is booze left/TODAY- 7 GBP per 4 cocktails…you can do the math. Classy but cheap. After party: Wahoo.
3. Jesus/St. Anthony’s Talent Show/St. Anthony’s College Bar/9.30pm/TODAY- don’t have a Valentine for the 14th? It’s not to late to find THE ONE!!! Who knows, they might actually be really talented?!
4. Naughty & Nice Bop/Linacre College /9.00pm-undefined/TOMORROW- if happy hour is too soft for you plus you wanna dress up and rock that body, this is a solid option. Yes, you can get naughty and no, Santa won’t know.
5. Oxford International Art Fair/Oxford Town Hall/11.00am-5.00pm/TOMORROW & DAY AFTER TOMORROW- suitable for the more sophisticated or the broke (register online to enter for free). Photographs, paintings, sculptures on display. High probability of discovering the next Picasso before they become famous.
6. Challenges of our century conference 2015 /Mathematical Institute-Andrew Wiles Building/9.30am-4pm/TOMORROW- do you enjoy pondering about big questions like cyber security, climate engineering or inequality? This is a great opportunity to listen to thought-provoking ideas from world experts, business leaders and policymakers on these topics. Get your ticket at: http://www.21cc-oxford.com
Remember to have fun this weekend!
