Sophia wish she had taken the chance to be an anatomy professor at a university, but instead she was teaching high schoolers. They were driving her mad, none of them would listen to her as she tried to teach her lesson. Instead the woman sat at her desk feeling flustered as chaos broke out in her room. Children were chatting and on their phones while others were throwing things across the room. She didn’t know how to stop it, every time she tried to put her foot down, they would walk all over her. She was praying for a miracle, for anything that would rally these kids under control. She ran her hand though her hair in frustration, not noticing her coworker passing by.

Baby Fever

Sophia was dead asleep in the middle of the night when she heard cries coming from the baby monitor. She wanted nothing more than to let Rudy take care of Mason since she woke up last night, but she didn’t want to be a burden on him. The girl rubbed her eyes tiredly and went to go check on the little boy. For Rudy and Sophia, things weren’t going so swell. Now that Mason was finally here, the distrust that Rudy felt for her in the beginning had returned. It often led to arguement and silent treatments. But the two would get over it for the baby’s sake. 

Another factor was that Sophia didn’t feel as beautiful as she did before. She had gained so much baby weight that it was a surprise to her that Rudy was still with her. As she entered the room she picked up the boy and started to rock him back and forth. “Daddy’s sleeping, Mason. What’s wrong?” She mumbled, though she knew that the little one wasn’t going to reply back to her.

Sophia laid in the tub sighing in content while Rudy’s fingers massaged her scalp. The two finally had some alone time together since Mason was born. The little boy was staying with her parents while they had the house to themselves. She hummed happily resting her back against the man’s chest. “I like this. We should do this more often.” She murmured softly.
