MMvsTR 6 month anniversary pog
(textless version under cut, rb > like)
Sooooo. It’s been 6 months (and a day, for me) since MMvsTR started. It all originated from a joke, but WOW. I’m amazed, astounded, and ecstatic over how far it’s come and what a story we’ve developed. I’m so happy about it. Here’s to actually finishing an RP!
the family of stories
MMvsTR playing card designs (only the people cards and the ace tho)!

Nyx sat beside Stormii’s hospital bed. The incessant beeping of the heart monitor was driving her mad, but she didn’t move. Their friend was in the hospital because of their other friend. It didn’t feel right for Nyx to leave them. The nurse came in quietly, knocking on the wall to alert them of her presence. She turned tiredly to the nurse, awaiting news. Bad or good, it would be better than staying ignorant. The nurse smiled sympathetically at her, before turning to her clipboard. “I assume you’re Ms. Nyx? Ms. Stormii’s emergency contact?”
“I am.”
“Alright. Ms. Stormii will be fine but she’ll have to stay in the hospital for a few weeks.” Nyx nodded. The nurse smiled again, excusing herself and leaving Nyx and Stormii in a hospital’s silence again.
“This is so ironic,” Nyx muttered, “We were planning to do this to Joy. Not for this to happen to you.” The longer they stared at their comatose friend’s face, the more guilt settled into their bones. They had a hunch about what Joy was going to do and they should have said something. But they didn’t. They never did. It wasn’t fair to Stormii. “Wake up, dumbass, this is so rude of you,” They kept their tone cheery, but their voice cracked nonetheless. God I’m pathetic. First I didn't warn you and now I can’t even get you to wake up.
“Quit your whining, Nyx. I’m awake,” Stormii grumbled. Her head snapped up and she gasped. “You’re up! How’re you feeling? Do you need anything?”
“Yeah. For you to shut up.”
“Right, yeah. Anything else?” Stormii didn’t answer for a moment, then frowned. “What was that about not warning me?”
“Nothing. Rest.”
“Nyx.”
“No. Rest.”
“I’ll keep bugging you till I get an answer.”
“And I’ll leave. Rest.”
“Fine, I will. And don’t worry about being pathetic, we can be pathetic together.” Nyx blinked, squinting at Stormii. “The hell do you mean?”
“After… After they’re gone.”
“Yeah, I got that. But I don’t think you’re physically allowed to be pathetic, though.”
“True enough.” Nyx smiled, putting a hand over Stormii’s eyes. “Okay, now rest.”
