Her leg is broken, her heart is broken, her little family is broken, and Sakura doesn’t really know if what she intends to do, what she’s planning on doing, is the right thing, or if it’ll only just cause more damage, more hurt, in the long run. Maybe it will, and maybe it won't, but…

But it’s honestly the only option she sees that won’t end in more bloodshed (that isn’t her own, anyway, but that’s a price she’s willing to pay, at the end of all things).

(It’s also the only way her tattered heart can move forward, the only way to see him again. Because that’s her only real desire - to find him again and get his heart back.)

She talks to the Witch, makes her wish; because what good is the use of her leg when Fai-san will die, and Kurogane-san, and Moko-chan, and… and Syaoran-kun, too, this new, different one with the same sad eyes. What good is she, what good are all her powers, if she can’t save the people she loves, if she can’t change their cruel fates even a little bit?

(Sakura aches, knowing how much she’ll make them suffer, but if it will keep them alive, she thinks it’s all worth it.  

She wishes it will be worth it.

She hopes it will.

She prays it will.)
