What r ur thoughts on the New Stranger in Town? They givin off murder vibes or just strange guy in the woods vibes?
“The new person? She seems alright, I think. I mean, other then accidentally releasing a demon that body snatched our friend… but she didn’t know what she was doing. I think.”
Red comments, heading back down stairs as she speaks.
“Definitely has the strange guy in the woods vibes. It’s odd that she only speaks Enderian, but not unheard of. I’m sure there’s another language we could try but if all else fails I can write in Ender-“
She skids to a halt outside the study door.
“That reminds me! I was going to write the alphabet of each language in a book so she had a translation key. That way when I get everyone together we can at least write back and fourth. Maybe learn her name so I don’t have to keep calling her ‘The Stranger’ all ominously.”
Moving into the study, you see a comfy room. Bookshelves line the walls, and there’s a table in the middle with some books on it. In one corner there’s a writing desk with a book and quill ready to go, and in the opposite corner there’s a small station with bandages and a sink. To the right of the door there’s trapdoors on the floor, they presumably lead to a basement. The place is lit by candles and the sunlight coming through the window.
Red grabs a empty book from a chest and sits at the desk. She gets to work writing out a clear translation of each letter, along with some basic words.
