Naeun hated being late. She found the whole prospect of not showing up on time and making someone wait as terribly unprofessional and rude behaviour. This wasn’t something she had grown into, having worked at such a young age, however, it was deeply ingrained in her even as a child. Maybe it was the number of times she had seen her parents react to tardiness, and their reasoning behind it completely understandable to her.
In that respect, it was one thing getting annoyed at people being late, it simply hypocritical to go ahead and act in such a way. So when she was rushing into the coffee shop, one of those that particularly serve their hot beverages in a massive mug, hoping to still catch her eonnie-Minhee. Apology already at spilling her lips as she approaches public trainee, in her haste to get to her, Naeun tripped halfway to their regular table. Her phone flying off her hands, and managing to find it’s way into Minhee’s drink.
“Oh my god.” She whispered in horrid surprised. Her eyes wide at first, darting back and forth from Minhee to her phone. But as she stepped closer to her sister-figure, tears were starting to form on her bright eyes. Automatically she thinks this is karma for being tardy. “Eonnie... wha.. urm.” She couldn’t process enough to say anything, as she sat down opposite the other girl while staring helplessly at her phone. “I’m sorry, I think I owe you a drink.”
