i was actually motivated to make art for the first time in a very long time! thanks gabby. 💚🍄 i've been trying for a while to figure out what sort of wrestling related art i could make. i finally realized that there were probably at least a couple wrestlers i could make one of my keychains for. gabby came to mind immediately cos like, come on. her whole deal is an easy fit for the extremely bright & colorful aesthetic i like working with.
it was kind of convenient i finally started making something this week. because on wednesday i got unceremoniously fired from my job of 2 years that i absolutely loved. (happy early 30th bday to me!) so it was nice to have something to work on to keep me from fully losing it. 🙃 i updated my carrd w/ my venmo & ko-fi & cash app. (i'm just carolinaebell on all 3) not asking for anything ofc, just putting it out there for now.

i took tomorrow and sunday off of work to be able to Watch All Of The Wrestling.
i’m so so excited for spring break tomorrow night. the card is absolutely insane. joey was not lying when he said it was gonna be the craziest show ever.
if any of y’all who follow me and have been thinking about finally trying to get into the indies NOW IS THE TIME! those of y’all who keep up with aew’ll know quite a few people on the jjsbx card and you should 1,000,000% watch it tomorrow night if you’re able!!!!!!!
every year i redesign a bunch of john green, hank green, and dr. paul farmer quotes. normally i start doing it during project for awesome season every year, but this year there was just no creativity in me. it was not happening.
but the past couple weeks i finally got inspired enough to work on them! i’ve got 9 done now.

i brought home my mom's desktop riser (it rises and lowers so you can stand at your desk or whatever) thing from her school to use for the summer. this morning i've cleaned off my desk and am trying to set everything back up in a way that'll hopefully work.
this insane week of wrestling has finally come to an end... i still have a few mania week collective shows to catch up on but everything has finished.
i've said it before and i'll say it again... PLEASE get into indie wrestling if you haven't yet. i'm truly begging you.
i watched nearing 30 hours of wrestling combined between thursday night and now. which included maybe the best start to finish wrestling show i've ever watched (joey janela's spring break 10 was actually incredible) plus plenty more matches on other shows that were some of the best matches i've ever seen.
so many queer wrestlers! so many awesome women! so many weirdo freaks who love what they do so much and fucking kill it every! single! damn! time! mick fucking foley!!!
i may at some point put together a more detailed post about specific matches from this week that you should check out. but for now all i have to say is that the past few days i've watched some of the most emotional, funniest, gayest, just all around special wrestling in the damn world. (and i didn't have to sit through a single hulk hogan documentary ad to do it)
