“Logan!” With a yelp, she leapt up from her cafeteria seat to chase down her target. Running was obviously necessary. What if xe hadn’t heard her? This was important. Of course, her voice had reverberated throughout the room at a stunning volume. A number of others had turned in her direction in response. A few, however, recognizing it as Cricket, simply rolled their eyes and ignored the disturbance.
She reached out to pull Logan into a hug once she’d reached xem. (Personal space? What was that again?) “I am so excited I ran into you!” Which she very nearly had, by the way. Her exuberance had made her sneakers skid against the cafeteria floor, somehow still maintaining her balance rather than fully colliding into the unfortunate aqua.
