you promise him that it’s just a short video you want to make and even though he complains about how he’s busy, he gives in with a soft look in his eyes

you give him a short kiss on the top of his head right as the audio mentions a dog and his demeanor goes right back to frustration

“i don’t take kindly to you suggesting i’m a dog. if you’re going to disrupt my work, at least be considerate.”

he sounds mad but trust me he’s overreacting and a few more kisses will calm him down

eventually he’ll get over it and maybe even think it was funny but he would never outwardly laugh or say that to you. out of pride of course

please apologize though or else he’s gonna be grouchy all day </3

not sure what you’re doing at first but assumes you’re trying to show him something on your phone so he gives you his attention

when he sees the camera he gets curious and starts asking questions

Edgar had been zoning out, a bit of caramel on his lip as a candy apple hung limply in his hand.  The festival reminded him a lot from when he was still human.  Wildemont had small fairs in the olden times, though it was far more humble than the extravagance of this weekend.  His nose wrinkled as something wet and slimy touched his skin, the smell unpleasant.  

Shaking his head away, the vampire finally noticed the two dogs.  One reaching back up to lick the caramel off of him, the other devouring his forgotten apple.  Managing to shoo them away, Edgar got up, noticing someone looking in his direction.  With an exasperated chuckle he waved around what was left of the sugary treat.  “You want in on some of this too?” he joked.
