Priya was glad her shift was almost done, and that it wasn't too busy, it allowed her to slow down a bit, take a bit of a break. That is until she saw someone sitting in her section and she let out a little sigh, figuring she might as well go, well, work.

Smoothing out her little apron, Priya straightened up and walked over, a greeting on her lips and ready to start taking an order when she got close enough and realized just who was sitting at the table-- a face she hadn't seen in a long, long time. "Well, look who's still in town..."

New York City was in a frenzy. Orion’s family kept him up to date, but he didn’t hear very much coming from them, and he was genuinely worried for them. Who knew that living alone overseas during a pandemic would be so fucking frightening? The illustrator had the luxury of working from home, but with the panic happening at drug stores and grocery stores, he was beginning to feel anxiety over everything. Even his creative writing classes were canceled. Thankfully, Professor Palmer lived in the same building, just a floor below, actually. Orion felt anxious and bit his lower lip before deciding he needed the company. He pulled on one of his sweaters, jeans, and comfy shoes, then padded down to knock on his door. He didn’t know if the man would be home, however. Maybe he should’ve sent an e-mail or a text first. “Please be home,” he muttered quietly to himself.

The sun was about to set when Kailor walked into the place; yet another he hadn’t noticed before or perhaps had failed to remember the name of it, though, the professor doubted a name like The Haunted Hyena could be forgotten so easily. Unless he was dead ass drunk before even walking in, of course. However, the atmosphere inside kind of reminded him of his mother’s old studio, which automatically gave the solid answer to his question - he hadn’t been here before. Now, however, he felt welcomed. For some reason this particular place touched something inside of him, some part of the magic he carried inside his veins and before he knew it, Kai found himself at a table, ordering the first of many drinks. “What will you suggest me?” He asked the boy that came to take his order.

@atticusmccn [CLOSED STARTER] Lexi had never visited Atticus at his work before. Sure, they would go out to eat before they had their netflix and chill nights, but for the most part, they saw each other in the evenings. But today filming had wrapped early and she had coincidentally been in the area near where he worked during the day. So then, why not? She was planning to see him tonight anyway and if she remembered correctly, the shop should be closing up soon. Stopping by the nearby grocery store to buy a pack of beer, she made her way to his workplace. It was busy with the bustle of machinery moving and sparks, but she managed to spot him working intensely on the side. Wanting to surprise him, she stepped around to where he was looking the other way, and posed by the car while over-dramatically brushing her hair back with her free hand to catch his attention. “Who do I have to talk to so I can get some of my gears oiled?” She called out jokingly. Soon she couldn’t even keep up her over-the-top acting, before laughing and giving the man a relaxed wave with her hand holding the beer case. “Hi, I finished filming an episode today so I thought I can offer a sweaty man some beer after work?”

The HEAD BITCH was back and ready to sink her claws into the next peasant who fell under her line – although, it wasn’t just any boring face that she had seen before who she came across. It was somebody new – somebody FRESH… Pausing in her footsteps as he was in her very TRACK, the beauty flicked her waves over her shoulders, confidence SEEPING from every orifice of her body – mostly her afire autumns and the tone that laced her words. “Excuse me, but you’re in my way – new boy.”

Atticus probably knew girls like her… Girls that were used to getting everything they wanted because they flashed a little bit of skin or made a threat. But what Demetria wasn’t expecting, was for Atticus to understand ENTIRELY what it was like to be in her shoes – a fellow histrionic.
