Xander usually spent his day off getting to all of his errands. Laundry, cleaning the house, calling his siblings to let them know he was still alive and okay. But he had been up since earlier than expected and had checked off his list pretty quickly. And he knew Devin was probably at home working so he figured he could swing by and hopefully get his friend to enjoy the day with him. His sister had encourage him to try to do it more often. To let his friends know he liked spending time with them so he made a quick stop and by the time he was standing at Devin's door, he was holding up a six pack of diet cokes and large cup of ice from the gas station. He was smiling when Devin opened the door. "I came to bribe you to come take a drive with me."

Devin kept her head down as she entered the store. Her hair tossed back in a very unlike her messy bun as she pulled the baseball cap she was wearing lower to conceal her face. She hardly had time to change after the hell that was the night before back at the Rosefell Castle and trying to take care of her currently very ripper-happy sister, so instead she just trudged down the aisle, wrapping her coat tighter in towards her chest to hide the light blood stains and hole in her thigh from where Alina had stabbed her. So much for trying to reason with the woman who was impersonating Selene all weekend, she thought as she moved to yank a whole bunch of cheesy heart printed bears and stuffed animals off the shelf for her feral sister to teeth on when she got home. She half thought she’d be able to make it out of the store unseen too, but the moment she got into line and felt the familiar eyes giving her a once over, she knew any hope of that was now for not. “Do me a favor?” Devin let out a soft moan as she glanced over at the person beside her whilst still attempting to juggle the overwhelming amount of teddy bears in hand. “Don’t ask.”

It would be a lie to say that Nolan didn't frequent the bar scene around New York. He just liked to get out of the house, enjoy some beers and people watch. Who didn't like to people watch? Nolan was sipping on his beer when he heard someone ask if he was going to finish it. His brow quirked and he looked towards the woman, laughing, "Yeah, I am." He stated as he waved the bartender over, "I admire your tenacity though." When the bartender wandered over, he nodded towards her, "Get her whatever she wants on me." Nolan nodded.

"Oh no. Your ass is not backing out now.” She maneuvered around her cousin’s kitchen table as the other woman attempted to avoid this conversation with near olympic level proficiency. “You know damn well I don’t do family reunions and it’s your obligation to protect me from my mother’s questions.” Not that Dahlia held any contempt for discussions with her mom, but there came a breaking point in every adult’s life when the probing grew exceptionally irritating. “You gotta be my buffer. C’mon. I’ll give you my left arm, or I’ll come over and clean this place top to bottom. Your choice.” @devinsuarez

“I mean there’s plenty we can do,” Lennon shrugged. “But now that I think of it– since we had things prepared for dinner, there’s also totally some dessert we can dig into if you two are game.”

Devin knew he was in a rather...Sensitive position. He had broken one of the biggest rules of the bro code...He had slept with his best friend’s chick. His best friend who was the captain of the football team that they were both on. And what’s worse? Devin had apparently been drunk enough to be sending him PICTURES of the event when it was going on. “Hey bro,” Devin said when he saw him next. “Look...This is awkward for both of us. So let’s just agree that your girl’s a slut, and it’s her fault and just move on, yeah?” Devin asked as he met up at his best friend’s locker before the team got there.

He’d gone on his own to the dance, usually he had more fun that way than with an actual date. Back in high school he’d been the guy who slept around a lot but he’d tried very hard to change that and become a more decent guy, wait for the right one kind. He’d got to dance and chat up with friends, drink a glass or two, eat amazing food but what he had yet to do was to compliment his best friend who looked absolutely beautiful. Connor had spent a good bit of his night following with his gaze Devin and her date, he’d seen the guy around and he just couldn’t trust him- less so with her. When she spotted her alone for the first time in the whole night, the boy approached tugging on her body gently. “Have you been told how great you look yet, or is your date dumb enough not to notice?” Connor’s voice had a joking tone though it wasn’t entirely his purpose, leaning in to kiss the girl’s cheek as he greeted her.
