"It's not every day I get to meet an alternate reality version of myself." Lena began, processing that there was interdimensional travel now. Shouldn't be much of a surprise: here she was, a billionaire inventor, engineer, scientist, businesswoman, philanthropist now revealed to be a witch who was now immortal. All of that alone was rather hard to swallow still. "Let alone other versions of who I know now."
Lena didn't account for names, seeing as she does get a niece named after her by Lex. Still, not that much time had passed, right?

"Mirepoix? Brunoise?" He was a decent cook. No one would call him a chef or write home about something that he made, and his parents were much to boogie to accept home cooked sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving, but still, he persevered. If nothing else, it filled the empty parts of his evenings. He'd come to the class at the Overlook more out of boredom than anything else. All his friends were out hiking, or planting flowers, or picking up trash. So, bereft of company and greatly opposed to sweaty and/or dirty activities he was here. Which currently meant leaning over Lena's shoulder, recipe in hand, and whispering, "Do you even know how to pronounce any of these words?"

"Lena!" Somewhere along the way Noa had lost her map of the fairgrounds and gained a glass flower. (Courtesy of a the sweet glassblower) She was lost, but she was also making her way through the entertainment on her own steam. Stopping often for treats and revelers. "You missed drunk Shakespeare. Hamlet was a prick, per uzh. But Ophelia lit into him."

"So, Sandy.." Lena trailed off, smiling as she wiped down the counter after a small pop in the bakery. "Business has been pretty good here lately?" The brunette looked good, especially since she had been staying in town the past few weeks. She often liked to step in and check in on the Wilkes family. Sandy, in particular, was one of her favorite people. He had been there through quite a turbulent time in her life, and to find out he was one of her good friends Dad had only had her and the family grow closer over the years. She could trust him with almost anything.
"You aren't by any chance looking for any help, are you?"
LENA’S DOWNTOWN APARTMENT August 31st, Tuesday w/ @lenareis
If you told Abel six months ago that he’d be having dinner with Lena, he’d call you absolutely insane. However, despite the short amount of time they had to catch up, Abel was beginning to see some sort of growth –– small as it may have been, he was just grateful that she was part of his life again. Dinner had a label that brought about a bit of nervousness out of Abel, which was weird given the fact that he hardly ever got nervous. Over a hundred different matches in his lifetime and not a single sign of apprehension, and yet one little dinner with an ex got him feeling some type of way.
Abel had made it to Lena’s door a little late, about ten minutes after their six pm agreement. It shouldn’t have been surprising since Abel had never been a punctual person but this time he had the excuse of stopping by the corner market to grab a bottle of red wine. After all, he couldn’t let Lena do all the leg work so the least he could do was provide some refreshments. Giving the door a few knocks, Abel waited patiently until Lena answered. At first sight, it was hard to hide his smile if only because that would always be the affect she had on him –– no matter how crappy of a day he was having, with one look she changed everything. “Smells like pizza. I don’t know if it’s New York pizza, but definitely pizza.”
@bambino-muses gets a long awaited starter from Geppetto
He was a rather poor carpenter, but he was still a carpenter. That meant he could ensure he got his daughter a present from time to time, even if it was something rather small and made from leftover wood.
“Here, I made it for you!” Surely she’d love a tiny carved fish just as much as she loved Cleo, right? Geppetto had only recently gotten Cleo and he couldn’t stop from focusing on the newest member of the family, even when trying to consider his daughter’s needs.

lena merely sighed as she listened to the other nurses prattle on. all of them looking at the cliff. she knew that plenty of the staff were weary of any member of the devils or wolves. what didn’t help was the circumstances given everything. she was rolling her eyes as she set down the tablet in her hands only to amble over to where he was,” you do know you are scaring the staff,” she said slowly,” and the pacing isn’t going to make him get out of surgery sooner.” she didn’t know all the details but she knew some kind of fight had broken out. she knew that maybe she shouldn’t have been the one to approach him but everyone else was too scared to do so. the last time they had talked hadn’t exactly been pretty. she was reaching to tighten the ponytail that she had thrown her hair up into,” plus i’m pretty sure that the are talking about calling security so do you need to take a walk? i can find you if there is news or at the very least go get some coffee.”
