It’s that boy I talked about a while ago!

Marilyn! (Named after Marilyn Manson. BoomPom came up with that. it was supposed to be temporary and well)

I love him! But he’s awful and I also hate him. So have some old and new sketches of him!

I’m gonna post some more sketches in a bit but basically later on the koopz blog, w/o giving big ol’ spoilers, Iggy tries to get rid of some negative nonsense in himself and well, nice, now he’s got a Mr. Hyde side. Amazing. What wonderful news. Stupendous. Outrageous. Seriously I love Marilyn.

His end goal is exactly like Iggy’s: to become king and run the Koopa Kingdom. Except his other desires also get amplified and so with that, firstly he’s much more violent prone and hyperfocuses on getting rid of Bowz (his first eff you being that he steals Bowz’s jacket). BUT another one of his base desires that gets amplified makes Marilyn TOTALLY BONER CITY for Pom (who is not a fan). He also hates Iggy immensely because he keeps trying to get rid of him and it’s like “Nah son. I’m sticking around.”

Uhhh the green pics. That’s blog stuff. Iggy gets stuffed down in Marilyn but they can still communicate. Also Iggy’s Aspergers carries over in this form, so Marilyn loooves stimming with hair a lot, but also has a tendency to go nonverbal when he gets overwhelmed. But since he’s like 5 days old and doesn’t know SHIT about ANYTHING, he’s like “What just happened to me? What was that?” And Iggy’s just like “It’s just kind of a thing.”

SO THE REST OF THIS. We also have this ongoing AU(?) where he uses his formula to turn Pom, Vik’s Lud, Roy, and Den’s Roy to their Hyde versions to help assist him with his plans for kingdom domination. AND SO WE GOT:

Pun (Pom’s Japanese name), who fluctuates from completely hyperaware due to Pom’s ninja training becoming ridiculously heightened to 200% chill and literally not caring about anything or anyone but herself. Also a little murdery. Only a little though. A tad. She just as easily has a sway on Marilyn as Pom does, but is 10x’s as much of a dick about it as her host is.

Wolf (LIKE... WOLFGANG? BEETHOVEN? AHARHARHAR) becomes this consistently drunken asshole, the stresses of his life melting away as he’s allowed to finally have no filter on what he says or does, heavily flirty and a horrendously troll-y. He makes his grand entrance to this little number (and messes up quite a few times, much to the chagrin of Marilyn). Also Wolf and Marilyn are totally married.

Richie (Like Lionel Richie, the singer) Never. Stops. Talking. Huuuge motormouth, runs at 100 mph. Also tends to speak what’s on his mind, even if it’ll negatively affect his host (like spilling secrets about Roy to Boom since he’s not gonna face the consequences). And like his host, is very enthusiastic about... relations. But much more straightforward.

And Arluroi, which I think Den just liked the name. The most outwardly normal of the group, he tends to be the smooth talker, able to collect himself and will do most anything for a reward from Marilyn, cause POSITIVE ATTENTION. DELICIOUS. He’ll lose his temper very quickly and very violently, but regain it in a snap, almost scarily so.

Boom doesn’t get a Hyde version because he literally became an uncontrollable ball of rage, so he got turned tf back and is now just kind of a hostage as they carry on with their shenanigans. He plays the straight man of the group and tends to actually be the one Marilyn gets along with the best since he actually listens to him.

And that’s the A-Team.

Also obligatory “bad guy gets shrunk down to non-threat status by either powerlessness or literal shrinking”. So he becomes, like, 8 years old. Same brain, same mouth on him, but very tiny. I’m like... debating making this blog canon, tbh, but we’ll see how that goes.

Sorry that was so long, that’s actually only like... a fraction of how much I have to say about them. I really... love these guys a lot. I love Marilyn so much. Mmm.

Ludwig is very much invested in furthering his mother’s legacy. From the moment he was old enough to understand what it was that Ulli and her Paladins did for the clan and for the world, he wanted to join his mother’s ranks as one of her holy knights. He was the pushier child of Ulli’s two sons, and if he couldn’t beg something off of someone, he would find a way to work for what he wanted.

In a sense, he left Chou in the dust when he started his Paladin training. He devoted most of his waking hours to learning how to master a blade and, once his potential for magic surfaced, how to channel his power into his weapon. While Chou dawdled and questioned what he was going to do with his life, Ludwig launched himself into his training, quickly proving himself capable of the discipline and mastery that was required of a Paladin.

Ludwig is a very bright individual, and looks up hugely to Ulli, Adelaide, and Sumet the most out of all the Paladins. He has a strong sense of self, and of fairness and judgement that his mentors have instilled in him. He’s a bit impatient and rash at times, and his curiosity and hunger for learning new methods of mastering power and weaponry get the best of him occasionally, but he has nothing but good intentions.

To the dismay of much of the clan, during his recent training stint with Soliel he’s seemed to develop a certain air of snootiness. Ulli hopes fervently that it’s just a phase, because Soliel’s attitude alone is enough for the clan.

Ludwig had finished his work and went for a stroll in Central Park. It was well after sundown and he sometimes found the evening to be a relief from the reminder of life around him. He paused on the path, though, as he realized someone seemed to be following him.

“Is there something you need?” He asked, his senses kicking in over time.
