People always claimed that practice made perfect — but most people didn’t have to deal with superpowers. They didn’t have to go through the shock of waking up in a different decade, or the utter surprise that came with teleporting halfway across a city after sneezing, but Frankie gave it a good effort.
The first thing was to figure out how to get her shimmering under control. While it was cool as hell and made her look like some sort of weird, iridescent fish, people stared way too much for her liking. The positives were nice — especially from the little kids who were mostly in awe of the colors that came from each pixel — but people tended to be gross or more scared than anything. So, she worked hard enough to keep her appearance smooth enough to pass by relatively unnoticed.
The next was her movement. She could disappear in the blink of an eye and move far faster than she ever could before the accident, but she was clumsy at best. The worst of it was when she phased through the lockers at the university and nearly gotten herself stuck. She gave the kids quite the show that day, but that only fueled her to try to get better.
Unfortunately, today was not that day. All Frankie wanted to do was to transfer her date from point A to point B. There was about twenty feet in between, so should be easy, right?
Apparently she’d gone from point A to point M — point M being a rather busy little food shop with quite the line out the door and it only got worse from there: she had to run into someone. Now, she didn’t just run like a normal person would. Her pixels reassembled themselves, the jump having been far over than intended, but they reassembled in motion. She could see each piece pick up the light and flutter around her and the sidewalk and really anyone nearby, including the poor guy who looked to be too preoccupied with his snack to take notice.
She looked up at him from her spot on the sidewalk with an apologetic expression as her body pulled itself back together again. She looked like she wanted to disappear. “Oh, dude! I’m so sor—” her incomplete hand caught her attention and a momentary bout of panic ensnared her as she quickly started to shake it. “Please, please! Don’t do this,” Frankie worried in quick succession. A visible bout of excitement and relief washed over her once her hand was whole again. She turned back to the redhead — and then to the fallen goodies on the cement by her feet. Frankie winced.
“Uhhhhhhhh... can I get you a new one?”

“Hey, man. Are you as bored as I am?” Dick asked, walking over to Wally who was sitting on the couch. He’d been taking a few days off since waking up in the hospital, and he was starting to go stir crazy looking at the same four walls in his bedroom. “How long has it been since we’ve waltzed?” There was a fond smile on Dick’s face as he recalled the times they’d danced together at Wayne galas, and just in the privacy of their own rooms, back when they used to date. “We should try it again, see if we’re still good at it,” he grinned, offering his hand to the redhead.
More wacott please
Wally: “Has- Has he always been this cute when infodumping...?”

“I can’t believe ya’ll forgot your phones, man,” Alejandro said with a huff as he sat his ass down on the nearest bench. Granted, his phone was dead ( obviously ) but that was entirely irrelevant to the fact that these two bozos left theirs at home. It was a joke among the family - about how Al paid for a phone he couldn’t even keep charged long enough to use - but it never seemed like much of a problem until now. “How the hell we supposed to get back if we ain’t got a fuckin’ robot in our pockets tellin’ us where to go?”

“Well...it certainly is...large,” Kaldur drawled from his spot on the shoreline next to Wally as they watched the chaotic flailing of the armored robo-squid. “I know this may make things more difficult for you, but perhaps we should try leaving it in the water for now. Maybe after we got everyone else out,” not that there really was anything else left in the water at this point except the one speedboat desperately zipping away from the scene, “we can try and see how many wattages this things can take from you before trying to get close.” That and they needed a few more minutes to make sure all the rescued civillians properly got out of the area.

“No no, take your time,” Kon grunted under the weight of the steel and concrete currently held over his head. “It’s not like this building weights a bajillion tons or anything.”
To be fair, there were still a lot of people trapped inside when the explosion knocked out the support columns on the main floor of the imminently collapsing building, but Kon was only so strong. He was allowed to complain. And it wasn’t like the Flash here hasn’t listened to him gripe before over the course of their previous team-ups.
He felt bad that the fight with the explody powered maniac resulted in this but there was only so much they could do to mitigated the damage when fighting in a crowded metropolitan area, and he was still fairly new at this.
Who knew touring would be so exhausting. It has only been three months since they had started and there was little less than two months before they would be flying back to their home sweet home. Thankfully there weren’t any concerts in the next two days. That gave them a full day to explore the city before getting a cramped van and driving for extended hours. The band members and Wally had rented a hostel for the night, they were cheap and it gave them a chance to make more friends. Sutton was pressed up against Wally in the small bunk as he giggled softly. Trying to stay quiet as others sleep in the shared room. “I can’t believe how much time has passed since you guys started touring. It’s sad to know it will end here in a few months but I’m also excited to get back home. Thank you for showing me the world,” he whispered softly.
