Perhaps there had been some truth to the panicked whispers of the ealdorman who had hired him, after all. According to the man, talk of a strange new shrine or icon had spread over the last few days: a structure deep in the woods which no local had partaken in construction of. Fear and suspicion had run rampant, as it ever did, but none felt brave enough to approach. Not until there had come a Witcher they could send in their stead.
The brief forest walk had given him time to ruminate on the likely possibilities, but the sight of the actual construction stopped him dead in his tracks. Sure enough, it was nothing like anything he had seen: dusky blue, probably constructed of wood, and pretty large. He had to wonder how nobody had come to notice anyone bringing materials to make this; it was hardly the sort of object one could take by cart in woodlands.
Scratching his jaw, the Witcher prowled a few cautious circuits of the strange box, noting the door, and sent a careful blast of Aard: it seemed to do little more than disturb the foliage which had come to rest up against the wood as though it had sat in place for years.
It was inexplicable, vaguely alarming: rationalisation pinned it on one of the mages, but caution bade him remain open to something altogether new.
Bright eyes stared at the door for a good long few seconds. Fuck it, nothing for it but to brazen it out and see what was what. He strode closer and slammed a fist upon the structure several times.

Loki/Mobius
Who is more likely to do some shady stuff for the other?
I mean…Mobius did go against the TVA bc of Loki but Loki is Loki so he’s gonna be the shady one by default :U
Which one playfully calls the other a bitch and which one sarcastically calls the other an asshole?
I can see them both using ‘em tbh >:) though Mobius would probably need to be a lot grumpier.
Which one is more likely to purposefully act in a way that will make their partner jealous?
Loki?? Probably??? Though I don’t think it’s above Mobius to do it to get a reaction.
Who is more petty / passive aggressive when they’re upset?
Loki, c’mon xD
Which one is most likely to get into a fight on the other’s behalf
Mmm idk; Loki’s more likely to/capable of backing up fights but Mobius is pretty protective of Loki when people are talking shit, and ofc Loki has the rep to need it.
Which one is the most likely to bail the other out of jail?
Mobius p much keeps bailing Loki from space jail, so.
Who is more likely to initiate mischief of any kind? And does the other stand back and watch or try to stop them?
Loki is mischief lmao and Mobius has watched it unfold. Dude didn’t even stop Loki ruining his salad, he’s totally here to enjoy Loki’s bullshit and pretend he doesn’t.
Which one purposefully annoys the other one to see how long it takes for them to snap?
Again both ways bc Mobius loves fucking with Loki when he’s got the power to, but Loki’s a mischief gremlin so they take turns.
Which ones gets protective because ‘only I’m allowed to bully you!’
Mobius with the TVA especially xD
Who is the one to apologize first when things are pushed too far
Mobius.
Who one ups the other when they proclaim their love? (”no I love you more” “No I love you more.”)
Lmao at the proclaiming :U but I think it’s in both their natures to be a lil playfully competitive tho Loki would end up winning via magic or something.

Loki/Geralt
Who is more likely to do some shady stuff for the other?
Loki, probably by dint of access to shadier stuff but Geralt would engage if it needs to be done.
Which one playfully calls the other a bitch and which one sarcastically calls the other an asshole?
Loki; Geralt probably would in reference of Loki to others :U
Which one is more likely to purposefully act in a way that will make their partner jealous?
Loki, and it works.
Who is more petty / passive aggressive when they’re upset?
Loki.
Which one is most likely to get into a fight on the other’s behalf
Loki by choice; Geralt by chance.
Which one is the most likely to bail the other out of jail?
Loki if only bc what mortal jail can hold Lokes
Who is more likely to initiate mischief of any kind? And does the other stand back and watch or try to stop them?
Again Loki’s whole Thing is mischief. Geralt would try and stop him if it was any way harmful, otherwise you bet he’s gonna watch.
Which one purposefully annoys the other one to see how long it takes for them to snap?
Loki most of the time but Geralt’s not above the odd long game of being a shit to see how indignant Loki can get.
Which ones gets protective because ‘only I’m allowed to bully you!’
Eeeeh I think they both really have that vibe of knowing one another can look after themselves, but Loki might get more protective r.e Geralt’s rep and witchers in general.
Who is the one to apologize first when things are pushed too far
Geralt.
Who one ups the other when they proclaim their love? (”no I love you more” “No I love you more.”)
Again they aren’t the sorts of characters really for that??? But I think Geralt’s more inclined towards sentimentality sooner.
A note is left for Geralt in a scroll sealed with mistletoe: 'Merry Yule! For twelve days, all monsters will look comically on theme - think snowmen, elves in silly hats, and gingerbread people. You'll be able to smell what they are still, I'm sure. For your gift, you can have three favours from me, none of which may cause me to lift the aforementioned spell. Choose wisely, dear Witcher.'
By unconsious habit, Geralt pockets the sprig of mistletoe with the rest of his alchemical ingredients before turning his gaze to the scroll itself.
"Huh." Amusement underscores the usual grunt which acknowledges anything to do with the trickster. He suspects the illusions will wear thin after a couple of days, but in his current ignornace he's more curious than anything to see it in practice. As for the favours...
Noise outside of the inn draws his attention, but for the rest of the day Geralt can't help but ponder on such an offer.
