Tired beyond his own comprehension, David, leant against a nearby tree, struggling to pull the remnants of his coat off after two run-ins with Magicks. Frankly, he was surprised he had gotten away still alive. Slumping against the tree, David exhaled a sigh to the heavens. The virus was wearing off finally and he could feel exhaustion setting in. Like rain, it soaked through the blood stains on his shirt, through to his muscles and seeped coldly to his bones. Sustaining a few injuries himself, he was relatively sure this was the end for him. With a slash across his chest and a minor enchanted stab wound that was strangely not healing and bleeding profusely, his hopes of returning to GRF were dwindling.
Could he say he was happy, partially... His hatred boiled more than ever now that he had a taste of hunting on his own, in a position of power, there were more things he needed to do...
Pushing himself up back to his feet, he tried to take another step further towards the facility, all he needed was some assistance with Greta. The lack of support, his senses beginning to revert back to their original norm, he ended up collapsing to the floor, unmoving, mostly accepting of his fate.
