Adrian stumbled into his apartment, flicking on the light. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been this drunk - to the point where not even his texts were making much sense. Somehow, he managed to make his way over to the couch, dropping down and closing his eyes. The world was spinning even as he laid there, and he couldn’t fight the heavy feeling in his chest. Reaching out had been a mistake. It seemed that he was like his father after all, at least in one way: when he called, no one in his family wanted anything to do with him. Adrian heard a noise by the door, and opened one eye. Everything was twisted to his drunk eyes, but he could see someone by the door that he’d accidentally left open. He groaned out loud, “I need advil, and maybe a pizza.” @amyorariadne
