While physically Beck had healed from the events of last month, mentally he wasn’t doing as well. If someone looked at him, it was pretty clear he was going through something. This past month had been filled with him doing just about everything to distract himself from going back to that night, mostly trying to wonder what he had done wrong. It stressed him out, and work didn’t exactly make it better at all. The month consisted of many meetings, dates with Kendall, hanging out with Hailey, Koda, and Renee, and just about anything else he could think of to try to escape it, well things instead  of what he shouldn’t do, even though that had been on his mind. Today’s escapades involved Malia, someone who he now viewed as a friend. After getting some lunch and a coffee, he tilted his head lightly at the other. “What do you want to do now?” he questioned, letting her choose what to do now.

Beckham had been fighting the urge to kill someone for the past week or so as he didn’t want to cause any suspicions for the female he had began dating not too long ago; however, it was beginning to take a toll on him and every thought that ran through his mind involved killing in some way. He had laid in bed staring at the ceiling next to the female for what felt like days but in reality, it was only two hours before he couldn’t take it anymore. His brown hues glanced over at the sleeping female to make sure she was still sleeping heavily before slipping out of bed in order to quench the craving he so desperately tried to fight. The male gathered the necessities before he made his way downstairs to exit the house quietly as to not disturb the female or raise alarm for where he was going in the middle of the night. 

It wasn’t too long before he spotted his potential victim; a relatively tall female with blonde hair who chose the wrong night to take a nightly jog alone. It all happened so fast that it was even a blur for Beckham, but it was satisfying his darkest needs and that’s all that mattered to him. The male knew he was messed up, had been for years, but he didn’t care. This was who he was deep down, and he had an inkling that he couldn’t change it even if he tried. He finished with his brutal attack and glanced down at the lifeless body before him as a small smirk danced upon his features. Beckham stayed there for a bit longer as he went through the entire sequence of events in his mind multiple times before deciding to head back to his place. Another jogger would find her in the morning, and it would be breaking news once he turned on the television while having a glass of coffee; however, he didn’t care. In his mind, he was doing the world a favor by eliminating weak links in the human race.

Beckham finally made it back to his place where he noticed that his once all white shirt was drenched in blood along with his hands, causing an annoyed sigh to leave his parted lips. He slipped out of his shirt and placed it into the hamper underneath some other clothes as if not to alert the female if she ever made her way into the laundry room before turning on the sink in order to start scrubbing his hands. The male tried to be quiet because he didn’t want to have an encounter this early in the morning, and he sure as hell didn’t want to have to come up with an excuse as to why he was up and why his hands were covered in blood; someone else’s blood to be a matter of fact. Beckham rubbed his lips together as he focused on getting every inch of blood off while feeling victorious in his actions.

“It’s not a date.” Beck clarified as he adjusted his sweater from the night before. “We’re just going for some coffee and dealing with the rest of the day okay? I don’t date.”

It was sort of a surprise when Beck had matched with Kendall on Tinder. That led to asking her out on a date. Dinner seemed to be a success, and now they were walking around town, just talking. It was easy with Kendall, Beck knew her slightly beforehand, so he felt comfortable. “How about we go get some coffee or ice cream or something, huh? Unless you’re tired of me already,” he joked.

Beck’s leg hadn’t stopped bouncing since he sat down in front the the canvas that he was using as him and Koda painted in her backyard. Well, as she painted, he was mostly just putting paint on canvas and it looked like absolutely nothing specific, mostly because his mind just kept wandering away from the actual task. Beck leaned back lightly to look at his canvas again. “This is a blob,” he commented. He leaned more to peak at Koda’s. “Yours looks way better.”

Beck was definitely looking better than he did last week, mostly because of the ambrosia. Beck spent a lot of the week, having a few chill hangouts with Koda, and Hailey, even a couple dates with Kendall, mostly trying not to be alone and keep his mind off what he was feeling, what happened, and ignore the cravings for a drink to forget everything that happened even for a little bit. He had managed to go to a meeting three times that week. That’s where he was coming back from when he found Hailey rearranging the furniture. Harley came running to him to greet him at the door. “Hails? What are you doing?”

Beckett smiled when he opened the door to reveal Chase. “Okay, I packed a whole bunch of stuff, you’re not allergic to anything, are you?” he asked, “I probably should’ve asked when I told you you have to pick a spot somewhere that’s not grass or bring a big ass blanket.” Beck guided him toward the kitchen where he was still packing things up. “I have sandwiches, carrot sticks, oh pretzels! And...” Beck dug through the fridge, holding up a pack of kool-aid bursts, “kool-aid!” He stuff them in the bag. “Do you want anything else. I have never packed for a picnic before.”

Beck was meant to meet up with Koda, that’s how he ended up on the doorstep of Koda, Ren, Alec, and Abel’s apartment. Beck didn’t account the fact that he was early to meet up with Koda, and was a little surprised with it wasn’t Koda who opened the door. “Hey,” he said to Alec. “Uh, Koda and I were supposed to hang out today. Am I early?”
