Familiarity// Tyler & Boyd
It had not been a good week for Tyler and his crew. His brother Elias was currently in the hospital while Trey was in the wind. Nothing but a text message saying he needed to disappear for a while and to break Elias out once he was well enough. He was sure that cop Red field was watching over Elias like a hawk which would make this all the more harder. But before that he was going to need money and a lot of it if he and Elias would go underground for awhile.
If he was thinking more clearly a bank would not have been his choice. Too many variables and way too much security, but he got there just before closing time and the only two people were a woman teller who looked as if she was already checked out mentally and a security guard. Muscled and probably strong, but nothing Tyler couldn’t handle with a little extra force.
With eyes glowing and claws extended he took out the guard quick enough. He didn’t kill him, just knocked him out and as the teller screamed he did the same to her. Getting the money after that was easy. Still,he should have expected the woman would hit the alarm and now with three cop cars swerving it was time for survival mode.
Hostages were tricky business. They could be a good asset if needed, but a liability if they freaked out. On that notion alone his choice was clear. Hopping over to the woman she looked up at him with fear in her eyes “Wh...what are you?” she asked “Someone who is very sorry to have to do this” Before she could ask what he meant he dragged his claws across her neck and after watching her try in vain to save herself Tyler watched her take her last breath. He hated taking a life, especially if it was an innocent one,but what he smelled on her he know her life wasn’t completely clean. Still, she didn’t deserve this, but the claw marks would distract the cops enough to let him escape. Now it was only a matter of setting his second plan in motion and for that he needed the guard.
Walking to him he bent down over the unconscious body “It’s your lucky day” he eyed the name tag “Boyd” Lifting the guy up over his shoulder he was surprised to feel how heavy he was. No time to think about that now as he carried the man,and the bag of money, out the back and hopped up the fire escape and the the rooftops. Needing somewhere private to talk as the cops stormed the bank.
