Conrad was born on November 9th to two hopeful parents who wanted nothing more than to have children. They had been trying for 7 years, and when the test finally presented as positive all they could feel was joy. Of course, Edith would go out of her way to buy everything even before Conrad was born and Oliver was the one who would sometimes have to put his foot down and make sure that the spending didn’t go out of control. They had the money, sure but while Oliver was happy, he didn’t want to keep his hopes completely up. Much to their surprise, his sisters would be born just a short few years later.
Since he was born, Conrad has been a happy child. There was nothing he couldn’t do, the sky was the limit due to his parents' wealth. But despite having a rich background, he didn’t let that change the kind and loyal personality that he had. He would go to school and see how some of the kids around him would be mean to those who had less, or were simply a little stuck up, Conrad on the other hand was friendly with anyone and everyone. That’s not to say that he didn’t hang out with the popular crowd, because he did but he didn’t participate in any of the bad pranks or bullying he would see most of his peers do.
Conrad in highschool preferred to stay at home most of the time and focus on his studies as well as take care of anything that needed to be taken care of around the house. That’s not to say he didn’t go to some parties in school nowadays. He was still a teenager and did all those teenager things, but sometimes the personality of his peers would be too much and he would just rather stay at home. He would date here and there, but nothing serious as he was more focused in school and the girls he would meet at school seemed too materialistic or fake for his taste.
Once college came around, Conrad was able to let loose a little more. He began dating a bit more seriously but he also didn’t want to take anymore of his parent’s money. The last thing he allowed and was grateful for was them paying for college, but he no longer wanted the control that came with using their money anymore. In this, he became more independent and had some odd jobs here and there just to have extra money atleast while he was in school.
His parents eventually retired from their perspective careers and soon after Conrad graduated, they moved to a tiny town in Argentina so he barely has any contact with them anymore. His sisters moved out and made their own lives in different states, and they sometimes text him when they need something or someone to help them out with something.
Conrad himself settled down in a small town in Texas, where he works as a bartender. He dated and got engaged briefly to a woman named Jessica but due to the stress of the job and her having suspicions that made her jealous beyond compare, he decided it was best to cut off the connection if there was no trust.
He first saw how angry his father could get when his sisters crashed one of his vintage cars, and while Oliver was never physical with them, he could sometimes get really mean and he took the blame for the crash telling him that he was the one driving the car drunk. It wasn’t the only incident in which he tried to defend his sisters, at one of the after parties, he learnt that his sisters snuck in and beat the crap out of a guy that tried to hurt one of them.
Conrad has a very protective nature, but it’s one he has always tried to control because pressing the wrong button and he knows he can potentially kill someone. He simply hates those who try to take advantage of women or hurt them in any way.
At the age of 21, his grandparents passed away and he was surprised to know they had left him something on their will as a graduation present. He’s used half of that inheritance but the rest he made sure to save up for emergencies.
He loves to drink ice coffee, every day after his morning run he grabs himself an iced coffee and a water. At night you can usually see him with a redbull, and it’s when he’s working until very late.
One of those odd jobs that Conrad did was dealing, but only briefly. It was just easy for him since he was close friends and roommates with a dealer. It got him the money he needed when he needed it. He would only participate in smoking himself at parties, but he grew out of that phase soon after graduating.
One night, a drunk Conrad was overhearing a conversation at a bar about how this guy was getting away with taking advantage of women and Conrad started an argument with him, eventually beating him up pretty badly. To the point where he would’ve ended up in jail, but his father paid bail and he got off easy. At that point, Conrad decided to cut off his drinking, knowing that he could get pretty rough.
Conrad stopped drinking for a while, but every now and again he allows himself a beer or two. It’s rare and it’s mostly when he’s by himself. By the age of 35, Conrad hadn’t had a drink in three years. He simply got bored of it.
He still keeps in touch with many of his old college buddies, at first they would all meet up at an old cabin his parents left to him- another graduation gift. Every other holiday it would be all his friends and their girlfriends at the time, or just them to catch up on things but eventually as they continued to grow up and have their own families, the holiday hangouts stopped.
Conrad was with his last girlfriend for 5 years, engaged for one of those years. He would usually take double shifts at work to try and pay bills and help make a better life for them, at times he would get out at 4 am at times. His fiancee did not like this, and suspected him of cheating especially with one of his closest friends (Dallas) and even though it wasn’t true as she was involved herself at the time, there was no amount of reassurance that helped. It was clear that she just didn’t trust him and he decided it was best to part ways.
Conrad never told his close friend the exact reason they broke it off, just that she suspected cheating but not with who.
