I don't normally do dance animation mods, especially ones with sound files attached because those things have some INSANE file sizes, but...I made an exception for this one specifically for Divarne. Because, I mean...come on. It's perfect.

Tagged by @igotsnothing for this game. I love this, super glad you tagged me because I love looking back to see my improvements.

My photoshop abilities are more or less the same, seeing as I came into simblr already at a sorta-intermediate level, but I've learned how to utilize them in new ways and better tricks for lazier ways of things I know already.

But my ability to take more dynamic screens/fine-tune reshade settings per shot has improved a ton even just within a few years. Some of it is my much nicer 2k screen, but I really notice a difference even in basic screens because of knowing how to adjust reshade to be less...blaring.

My CAS skills are definitely the biggest improvement - I'm stupidly proud of how much better I can create what's in my brain through CAS now.

Here's a handful of before/afters, with the old screens on the right, and the rightside screens would have been taken within the last year at worst (it's been a rough year, so I don't have as many examples as I'd like):

The last one with Xavier has the greatest time gap of to show improvements, with about 7 years between the old one on the left, and the one on the right that I took an hour ago really quick since I had none of his updated look. Admittedly the recent one is intended for him to be around 5 years older, but you can still tell it's him, and that even with minimal adjustments he looks SO much better.

Divarne's entire combat style can be best described as 'so anyway I started blasting' regardless of what role he's in. If you call him up as backup, you better be ready for an entire arsenal of firearms and turrets and mechs. Eventually everyone learns to stop asking about it because his answers make even less sense than just going with it.

Dumbfuck (bun version) finally got properly made ✨

Viera Divarne looks quite a lot different than his original mirialan version, so he had to be made from scratch. I also had to fix his stupid tattoos & recolor the ears, but he finally has a sim for the XIV save!

Planning to do the OC tags/ask stuff with this dumbass so I went to take some screens of him, but still not feeling up to writing SHIT atm...so have some of the screens I took 'cause he pretty ✨ and I can't resist showing him to everyone who will put up with it.
