Two days with nothing but endless interviews -- or as endless as it seemed having to note down every little thing that left the the people’s mouths upon answering the questions he threw at them; and being someone who had a hard time finding that red line in a mix of information, it was a given the people he had spoken with thus far had started to melt together. A teenager there, an elderly woman over here... but it wasn’t just about what he needed or he wanted to station outside his office, but also what type of worker would benefit his negative loads and the hotel as a whole. After all, his father was a perfectionist and the main reason Simon was begging for help (yes, begging) was due to his own many slips that just didn’t sit well with the older man. He needed someone who could read through his reports and underline the spelling errors he couldn’t spot, someone who could steer away the phone calls he didn’t have the time to answer and deliver the paper work done to it’s right room and box. It wasn’t hard, and thus he was only searching for someone willing to do part-time, but finding someone who clicked with him was rough.
Opening his office door to call out for his last meeting before lunch, Simon glanced down at the name on the paper for a fourth time in an attempt to get the name to stick inside his head. “Francesca Lim?” Looking up, his eyes landed on a rather young woman nested in one of the armchairs and an instant, warm smile fell onto his lips as he held out his hand for her to shake. “Hello and thank you for showing some interest for this job, I’m Simon Meadows -- manager and the one looking to fill the spot. If you follow me inside we can get started. Do you want anything? Water? Coffee?”
