Peter was not one to be nervous. So, as his palms clammed up and his heart pounded in his chest, he thought he might be coming down with something and almost turned to head back to his apartment. That is, until an unassuming Gadget opened her front door. “Oh, hey!” Peter grinned, shifting his weight from one leg to the other. He gripped his backpack strap a bit tighter. “Didn’t expect to see you here.”

Ali had been sitting on the steps of a classroom building, scrolling through his phone, when he spotted the familiar short blonde. “Hey, Gadget!” He stood up, falling into step with her. “Do you think a license plate with my name on it is too flashy?”

Angel watched the other girl for a moment, eyes glancing over her face shape and eyes before shaking her head. “Ya know, someone said we look like we could be related, but I really don’ see it. ‘M tryna see it, but other than the blonde hair....I don’ think so.”

“I’m surprised you found me here,” Meg sighed, closing her book. “Although, it is you... So I can’t say that I’m so surprised.” Crossing her arms, she leaned back in her seat. “Long time no see.”

Peter sent three shrap raps against Gadget’s door, doing his best to juggle all the supplies he’d brought until she opened the door. As he waited, his arms felt more and more like they might fall off, so he thought’ he’d make it a bit more obvious that it was urgent. “Hey! It’s Peter! Peter Woods! Can you let me in?”

Ali was flipping through a wallet he had just stolen, taking the cash and gift cards out of it before throwing it in the closest trash can. As soon as it was disposed of, he looked up and saw a familiar blonde. “Hey, pipsqueak, you look lost.” { @gollygxdget }

“I promise, you’ll love it.” Gemma was sure that Gadget would not, in fact, love it. Still, she parted the beaded curtain and lead her friend into the club. “Here,” she grinned, handing the girl a stack of cash, “Tip well, honey.”

Perrie watched the flashing blue and red lights fade in her rear view mirror. Her heart was still pounding, but thankfully Gadget was in the passenger seat and not in handcuffs. She glanced down at the steering wheel in time to see frost covering the top of it. Taking a few deep breaths to dispel the adrenaline, she glanced over at the younger girl. “I’m sorry if I pulled you too hard, but...I wouldn’t be such a great mentor if I let you get arrested.”
