“You’re brother already headed down,” Cashmere told her tribute as she seen Goldie wander into the dinning area of their apartment. She didn’t want to keep her too long, it was important they were there for training, but they needed to do the necessities. Training was supposed to be secret other than the Gamemakers, Mentors, and tributes, but it never was completely. What was the fun in that? Rumors and gossip were plenty in the Capitol.
“I’m not going to keep you but...” Cashmere paused, but she figured being candid was her best approach. Beating around the bush wasn’t going to do them any favors at this point. “You need to tell me how you want to play this. I’m not here to change your mind or make your decisions, but I need to have some idea.” In her experience both as a tribute and a mentor, they were going to do whatever they wanted. Cashmere just wanted to know ahead of time.
“You be honest with me, I’ll be honest with you, deal?”
