early morning nov. 4 / grace, atlas, caliphe, & the berry family.

Atlas had helped bring Astrid to recovery, after spending hours in surgery with Lena. As the resident, it was usually his job to update the families. He met Grace in the stairwell who looked like she was just coming out of surgery with Silas. "Hey, Astrid's headed to recovery, she got lucky, how's Silas?"

Grace was exhausted, after hours in surgery, she was told to leave as they closed to go update the Berry family. "They're closing what they can now and sending him to the ICU. He's going to need another surgery for a skin graft and then one for his leg. His body just needs time." They rode the elevator down. "Not ready for this," she said as she stepped into the waiting room. "Berry family?" she asked, walking up to them to get their attention.

Sebastian was relieved to have so many people of Aryndale flitting around the castle as it helped him to feel less isolated. Even if he was alone for hours on end with his research, he knew that a piece of his home was never far away, even if it was just someone passing by in the hall whom he recognised.

The Duchess was one of those people that he ran into on his way down to the kitchens to grab himself a bite to eat, as he had been holed up in his rooms all day and felt like he was starving. “Your Grace,” He said by way of greeting, ever the polite gentleman even as his stomach was rumbling. “How are you finding life here?”

Mateo generally let Shadow off his lead, he tended to be well-behaved and it was not common from him to run off. Something had spooked Shadow causing him to run off into the trees, what spooked him was unknown, nothing in direct site. Mateo called out for Shadow, several times repeatedly and the more time lingered on, it became concerning...
