Because of Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet, I've always pictured him as a more lithe character. I know you said some fcs didn't have any wiggle room, but were there any other Indian fcs that you could see as Hamlet instead? Also, how close to the play's relationships would we have to stick? Because I've always shipped Horatio and Hamlet together and am wondering how plausible that would be in this universe.
There aren’t any I can think of at the moment, but that’s because I have a hard time coming up with faceclaims on the spot. I am willing to negotiate, though, so if you have anyone in mind for him, feel free to ask! As for the relationships from the plays, most of the romantic connections will be left more or less open; there won’t be any “set” ships, so really, anything is plausible! Platonic and familial relationships will remain similar in most cases, aside from some characters being adopted or related by marriage that were not in their plays, and characters who were not in the same plays will also have connections, so you are definitely under no obligation to stick to the canon ships of the plays.
