“Hey, so we might have a problem.” Annabel mumbled from the sofa as she turned her head to Marcy who was just emerging from her bedroom.

“So it was Evan,” Annabel sighed and plopped down on the sofa next to Marcy. “Which now means I have to make her life an absolute hell. Obviously.”

“I wasn’t uh- I wasn’t expecting anyone today... I’m uh- p-painting sorry. It’s a mess in here.” Annabel rambled on after Marcy had entered her room, completely startling her.

“Or you can sleep out on the ground. Make this easier for the both of us.”

"You’re my favorite kind of night."
“Obviously, tell me something I don’t already know.”
Annabel was bummed to say the least when Marcy said she’d be leaving after she came over but she was coming over and it was a start. She had just replenished her alcohol supply thanks to Frans and poured herself a drink while she waited for Marcy to arrive.

I’m surprised you didn’t throw up on her just then.
Do you think this is gonna work? I can’t wait to ruin her life.

Whoa, that was filthy.
You can’t ask for a filthy joke and then be surprised by how terrible it is.
