Ben smiled as he watched his older and baby Erik, who was cooing and smiling. Mitchell was amazing with Erik and he was thankful for his brother who had been there for him since day one. The older male had helped him hold it together, Mitchell had always been able to help Ben from falling apart for as long as he could remember. He sighed as he walked toward him. "You are on hundred percent his favorite uncle," Ben teased with a grin on his face. Becoming a dad was rewarding and there was a time that Ben never thought that this was going to happen.

Nat always hated being privy to Burgess business. Family business always brought the worst out in them all. It brought out the coldness. The ability to hurt one another and others. The quick tongues, the slick insults, and the thick skin you need to even endure it. “You ready for this?” she asked @mitchellburgess​ as they approached the mansion. “Remember when it’s time to lie, you let me do all the talking, and if it comes to a fight, back up because I’m in the mood to burn the world and I’ll burn this fucking place down, grandmother or not. I’m not in the fucking mood.” Yeah, they were summoned to talk about Chloe’s ordeal, but little did they know Nat would also be telling them that Mitchell would no longer be a part of their coven and Olivia would now be under her tutelage.

“So I got all dressed up and my plans got canceled. If only there were a handsome man nearby to take me out,” she heaved a sigh before smiling. “I’m kidding my plans didn’t get canceled. I was at an event that I heard some Alliance people might attend, trying to sniff them out. But I wasn’t joking about the handsome man part if you’re free to hang out? “Oh, Daddy Shark!” She said in a sing-song tone. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in…years. I kind of wanted to talk to you about something. I mean something pretty heavy, if you’re cool with it.  But first, all the hugs, I want ‘em.” Roni felt like she was walking on sunshine and cloud nine, but there was something that bothered her and Mitchell was the only person she knew that used to be in a similar situation. @mitchellburgess

  It had been ages since Alex had picked up his paint brush. Running the company and also the restaurant left him little time to do so; Alex mind was racing from the pressure that he was under, his fathers words and grandmother’s words still echoed in his mind and also the press who seems to have gotten their attention. 

   Alex decided to go to his studio and just paint, he did not even care if the painting was terrible but he just needed a distraction. Alex was lost in his painting that he turned out everything and for once in a long time he felt relax despite the pain that came from his hands. Alex was lost in his own little world when he heard one of the paint can fell and he looked away to see someone familiar.

     “Hey, how is it going?” he said with a smile, “It has been ages”

Ben had been trying so hard to hold it together. For once he was happy, he had gotten over the fear of being a dad and he was really excited. He had always wanted to be a dad and he never thought this day was going to come at all but now he felt like his whole life was falling apart once again. The chef questioned if he deserved to be happy, he thought that the universe had forgiven him and for once, just once he would get something but he was questioning all that. Erik had been born early and was in the NICU and he was scared that he would lose his child. Ben had spent a lot of the time in the hospital, talking to doctors and everything despite hating hospital. A part of him had not given up. He was not aware that his brother had come to check on him. He just sat and speak to himself.

"I can't do this again....I can't handle this. Please for once..." he whispered his voice breaking.
