Xion looked for her sister. She needed help with homework, and while Kairi was smart, Namine was just closer. She would know what to do to help her. Plus, she drew lots of diagrams, which helped her understand her assignments better. So, the first place she looked was naturally her bedroom, painted pure white. It was decorated by various drawings, which looked pretty at first sight.
At a closer look, she started noticing strange symbols in her art, things that didn’t look like any recognizable writing she’d ever seen. She was starting to fill a library with books, too, the colors of which contrasted starkly with the room around them. Xion was curious; she glanced at a few titles.
She laughed quietly to herself. Magic wasn’t real. This was just some fantasy stuff, undoubtedly part of a pretend game she played with the others. But at a closer look, these books were serious. They taught practical magic, it seemed. She scoffed and replaced the book on the shelf. “No way she would believe in this anymore, right? It’s pretend games, kid stuff...”
Her real mission was to find her sister and get homework help. She could ask about the books later.
“Namine!” she called, hoping her shout would be answered.
