It was almost unbelievable for Killian how things changed after he found out that Ares was a veela and that Gil and Niles already knew for a while. How weird it was all throughout those weeks while they were avoiding the subject and pretending that they don’t know or don’t care. Killian reasoned with both Ares and Niles about the situation, he even consulted with Tami and Gil, but it all came down to the two boys to meet and to talk it over, or just fight, you never know with these hormone raging teenagers.
Killian was just walking down the stairs to the dungeon with Niles and Gilana, with the pretext that he left his books at his Alchemy class. but of course both him and Gil knew that this was a scheme to lure him into the same room with Ares, who was already waiting down there in a room tricked with another white little lie. The conversation was casual and calm, but when they got to that specific door Killian let Niles go forward, he stepped in right after him and Gilana shot the door after them.
With a fast turn, Killian whooped out his wand and pointed it at the door saying the incantation of the altered lock charm which Gilana was performing on the other side and which could only be broken the same way: cast at the same time from both sides of the door. The three boys were trapped in the windowless dungeon room. Killian, Niles and Ares. “Good evening, gentleman...”
