A bubble of laughter erupted from his chest, his body a bit numb from the alcohol but his senses still perfectly functioning. The delicate touch of a finger traced his shoulder blades as a feminine whisper sent chills from his ear and spine, Zach’s eyes wandering around the sea of faces as he unconsciously searched for a specific one. The same husky voice kept whispering things in his ear, offering him the world and more, but his mind was somewhere else. “Excuse me” He mumbled as he pushed the woman off of him and walked aimlessly around the party before he stepped outside into the gardens and saw a figure standing near the rose bushes. “I’d say those are my favorite flowers but I’d be lying. Lily of the Valley’s are prettier.”
